Spring Update

Quick Spring Update, LBI has been having steady action of stripers from the surf the last 2 weeks and I expect this to last until mid-May. The FishHawk is getting closer and closer every day to going into the water. With a launch date of next week. I will be offering both Beach Guides and Charters again this year. Weekends in May and June are getting booked up quickly so please reach out if your thinking about booking a trip. looking forward to another awesome season! 

Fishing Report 8/1

Fluke fishing in the bay was very productive this past week with 17 keepers caught and over 200 fluke in total. The reports at the reefs are starting to pick. With the amount of fluke in the bay right now there’s no need to head out there, when fishing is good 10 mins from the marina. I have also started offering blowfish trips. These trips are great for families looking for a lot of action and are just getting into fishing. These blowfish trips are 2 hrs long and we fish right in the bay where it is very clam. Fluke Fishing is on Fire

The first weekend in June was some of the best fluke fishing we had in a while. On Friday morning, I did a quick solo trip on the FishHawk and got a hand full of shorts and one 18”. Friday afternoon my friend Sal and I went back out and had 3 keepers between 17.5” and 20”. On Saturday my charter of 6 had 8 keepers with 6 of them being over 18”. My dad was out Saturday in his boat, the No Shorts, and caught his limit as well. If you are thinking about booking a trip, please reach out now. My weekends in June and July are getting booked up.
