Captain Connor
As a fourth-generation fisherman on Long Beach Island, Connor grew up fishing the waters around LBI. He started off working as a mate on some of the charter boats in Beach Haven. Then was offered a job at Jingles Bait and Tackle. In 2019 Connor started offering Surfcasting Guides to help people understand how to fish from the beach. In the winter of 2020, he became a certified Captain (OUPV 6-pack). After graduating from Stockton University in the spring of 2021 Connor decided to pursue his passion. In 2022 he started offering boat charters on a 27’ Center Console, which he calls the FishHawk.
Connor’s goal is to create a friendly and relaxed environment while out on the water or surfcasting. Not only will he put you on the fish, but he also will teach you about the different types of fishing methods and the history of the fisheries we have in southern New Jersey.
