Captain Connor
As a fourth-generation fisherman on Long Beach Island, Connor grew up fishing the waters around LBI. He started off working as a mate on some of the charter boats in Beach Haven. Then was offered a job at Jingles Bait and Tackle. In 2019 Connor started offering Surfcasting Guides to help people understand how to fish from the beach. In the winter of 2020, he became a certified Captain (OUPV 6-pack). After graduating from Stockton University in the spring of 2021 Connor decided to pursue his passion. In 2022 he started offering boat charters on a 27’ Center Console, which he calls the FishHawk.
Connor’s goal is to create a friendly and relaxed environment while out on the water or surfcasting. He will put you on the fish and teach you about the different types of fishing methods and the history of the fisheries we have in southern New Jersey.
Captain Keith
Since the age of two, Keith has treasured summers on Long Beach Island, where fishing became a defining part of his childhood. He spent countless hours alongside his grandfather, casting lines during those unforgettable summers. In 2020, Keith earned his USCG Captain's License (OUPV-6 Pack), transforming his lifelong passion into a professional endeavor. While his main career is managing a successful real estate appraisal business, he also captains the FishHawk at least one day a week during the summer and on weekends as needed. Keith’s expertise extends beyond fishing charters—he also captains the SBB Tiki Boat for pleasure cruises and plays a key role as a partner aboard the Miss Beach Haven, contributing to its operations and success.
